FACTS ABOUT CUMNOCK:
Cumnock (Cumnag in Gaelic) is a town in East Ayrshire,
Scotland.
The town sits at the confluence of the Glaisnock Water and the
Lugar Water.
There are three neighbouring housing projects which lie just
outside the town boundaries, Netherthird, Craigens and Logan, with the former
ironworks settlement of Lugar also just outside the town, contributing to a
population of around 13,000 in the immediate locale.
Cumnock housed many
miners, and also served as the market town for the other, smaller towns in the
district, like Auchinleck, Ochiltree, Lugar, Muirkirk and New Cumnock (the
original Cumnock/Comenagh/Comno/ etc)

Heating Oil
Saturday Delivery
Heating oil used in domestic boilers is usually Kerosene, a light paraffin based oil. Larger homes and hotels etc sometimes use gas oil, a diesel based oil.
Gas Oil
Saturday Delivery
Gas Oil (red diesel) is used by plant hire companies, building site contractors for diggers, dump trucks and fork etc. It can also be used to power generators and pumps etc. Gas oil is also burned in larger heating systems and for steam raising etc.
Kerosene
Saturday Delivery
Kerosene is mainly used for domestic home heating boilers. It is also used for AGA cookers and factory space heaters.
We supply BP Bottled gas to clients around Ayrshire and beyond.
